Events

Since 2006, North East Physical Activity Forum (NEPAF) has provided bi-annual opportunities for continuing professional development (CPD), through conferences and workshops.

The aim of the CPD events is to provide an opportunity for professionals with an interest in physical activity and health, to network with like-minded individuals and expand their knowledge base. Events also provide employers with high quality, affordable programmes of professional development for the workforce that can be accessed at a reasonable cost, within the North East region.

We design conferences and workshops based on membership feedback and best practice. Members have an opportunity to shape future events and operational context through evaluation at each event.

Conferences and workshops (where relevant) are Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) endorsed and CPD points can be achieved through attendance. We aim to investigate further accreditation for other physical activity related disciplines in the future to ensure best value to all forum members.
